I got the CL70 running but it would only do so with the choke lever up. Typical problem and I'm not surprised given its age an how long it sat. I'm sure carburetor could use a thorough cleaning anyway.
Rather than go the standard route using carb cleaner, I decided to go another way. I received an ultrasonic cleaner last Christmas and thought I'd like to give that a try. My intent was to take before and after pics but somehow I got too excited and forgot to take very many "after".

It didn't come out super clean and shiny but it did get most of the crud out. Again, I apologize for not getting better pics.
